Wall of Angels

It's done!!!

The Family/Ancestor wall is finally done.

It's been in the making for a few years now-- I've been collecting and saving pictures for a very long time. And with Bill bringing home many new pictures when he and his brothers and sisters went through the family home in Rexburg it really got me excited to fulfill my vision. It's just what I needed to kick me in gear.

With the help of my good husband on the ladder for a couple of hours (right over stairs I might add), and a shopping trip to acquire a few more frames, this is what we spent the evening hours of Family Home Evening doing:

I love it.

I find myself staring at it multiple times a day. There are many on the wall who have already passed on and even many whom I have never met before. But I absolutely love being able to put a face with a name on a pedigree chart and I feel so close to each one of these people when I do this.

I feel like I have a whole entire wall full of angels staring right back at me.

Nat,

I love that wall and want to copy the idea some day when i have a perfect location like that. What a great idea. All the new pieces in your house are to die for, I love that table when you come in and that new chair with the picture, I am so happy for you but oh so jealous!! You are one gifted and talented girl Nat!

Nat,
How lucky that Bill found you. You are so accepting of his family.
This is so significant and awesome for your kids as well to know of their roots and branches.

This is really cool.

Nat - tears. I believe so strongly (like you said on your side bar) that we are who we are because of the people who came before us (parents grandparents...) all angels! This is the neatest project ever.

It looks great! You definitely have some artistic talent. I think it's great that you have all those memories up where you can see them. I bet Dee would have loved it!

Hi Natalie, It's Loni Hackworth here dropping by to say HI. Your wall is just marvelous. Allen and I served 2 family history missions and it's just so important for people to know of their roots and to put a face with the name! You did such a great job of putting it all together. I think of dear Deloris so often. She's one of a kind. I love the entire Stanton family - you are great!
